So last month I bought my first Filter-Flo ever off of ebay. When it got here it was buyers remorse at it's best. None of what the seller said was true about it working and "tested", "A-1" condition.
Anyway, thanks to assistance from club members and needed parts sent to me courtesy of Yogitunes, I was able to finally get it going and posted some pics in an older thread. It was working and clean, but the cabinet is dented in the front.
then I came across this GE at a thrift store in Leesburg and got to thinking of doing a body swap and blend the two machines together. So I just got back with it this week and I have some pics to share.
This was one of two washers I went on my appliance picking trip to get.

When I got there the manager/owner dropped the price $50 after I told him I had driven in from out of town to get it.
If your ever in Leesburg, Florida, stop by 441 Thrift, very nice people.

This washer has the back panel installed where the SpotScrubber did not. So I couldn't tell what other changes GE made in this last of the FLo's.
I will remove the back panel for further doner comparability between the two. It's a strong runner with a VERY aggressive agitation. Even though it's a BOL, It's a shame to tear it apart.

I noticed the back panel is just simple pressed cardboard and I've only seen these in 2 conditions, destroyed and water logged. They are also 'Hella' expensive! So I decided to at least coat it with something to prolong the day it needs replaced or I take it off completely.
The only real reason to keep the cover on is for noise reduction and to keep the critters of the 4 and 8 legged variety out of the internals.

Compare it to the "older" Filter-Flo.

...I test fitted the Filter-Flo pan from the SpotScrubber and it fits on the agitator of the newer washer. I understand that the SpotScrubber filter pan is a little larger in diameter, but it fit just the same. I now "need" a standard Filter-Flo pan since it didn't come with one.
Here is an example of the type of cycle lights I wanted to custom add to the washer to indicate water temps and "SpotScrubber" activity.
They are from a Commercial Speed Queen.

I had this 90% full can of spray paint laying around for over 10 years and decided it was finally the day to use it.
I remember that when I had used it prior, the spray valve was defective, causing the paint to build up at the tip and then get spit in a goober-like fashion, ruining any smooth finish you were trying to create. So in this case I used that "defect" to a creative advantage. After all, I was just painting a piece of cardboard.
Here is the panel painted and re installed.
