My filter-flo today did something strange, it loaded more water than usual for the wash, we had an electrical owerpower and a voltage drop in our neighborhood just when it was filling with water, this should have caused washer to overfill.....it filled upper to the starting line of the ramps of the activator agitator...
But my question is that, I noticed of it after 10 minutes because my washer started to do a "rubber slipping" noise, no that loud though....
Maybe mine is just paranoia, but I'm afraid that a little (very soapy) water entered in the upper shaft seal and in the transmission, and that noise was the shaft or even the pulley that was riding on a non lubricated seal due to soapy water....maybe the water reached the bottom and the pulley also.....
If so has happened I think or at least hope that it will no damage the transmission that much being just a little amount and probably dropped to the bottom of the tranny......
Do you think that if this has happened may have damaged the tranny and the seals?
I do not want even think about replace the tranny.......
Or anyone know if it could be another sound? Belt have been replaced and pump connector was in good condition and tighten.
I'm afraid on having to replace the seal again as this has already happened and took me alot of time and efforts.....
Does someone know what other sound could have been this?
Thanks
