ditto to appnut, 1964-1966

I have one like that except it's white and a two-speeder. I love that designer filter-pan(it's why I bought it). Another GE oddball though; they never offered BOL's like that model in a color. Must have been the end of a run. Judging by the type of agitator and the black rather than green cap and the holes pattern in the washbasket, I'd say it's part of the "Y" series, 1964. I'm also going to guess that it's a WA575Y, which would have been a "deluxe" version of the BOL. Compare the dial on yours to the cycle dial on the picture below. If you really want to know, look at the model number, should read something like:
WA575 Y-1964
WA532 A-1965
WA517 B-1966
or, unlikely, but GE always makes a fool out of me,
WA550 C-1967

I'd get it!Nothing was built to last for half a century better than a BOL Filter-flo.

We had one similar to this one. It was a two speed, we got it in the mid 80's from my Mom's boyfriend, it was probably 10 year old when we got it. I used it until I bought us another Whirlpool set in 84 or 85.

It was a great washer, but I wanted another Whirlpool.
