This is great news, I'm really loving this Obama administration. There is absolutely NO good argument as why bud should stay illegal.

I think the intelligent approach to recreational drug use is how Spain handles it: let people do what they want in their own homes, but come down like a ton of bricks on those who threaten public safety (e.g. by selling drugs to minors).

So many of our government agencies (the DEA, ATF etc) have become nothing more than legalized domestic terrorist organizations. Sounds like Obama is starting to address this problem.

I agree 100%. We saw how well Prohibition worked. This is really good news. Just another reason to give our new president the thumbs up.

Spark a blunt for Obama!

There was a great show on CNBC a few weeks ago about the pot industry in CA, $600,000 a year now and "growing." No reason not to tap that for taxes, most would gladly pay it. Earmark it for education and we'd have the best schools in the world.

Historically, the liquor lobby has been the largest financial contributor to fight legalization movements in the U.S. Alcohol is physically addictive while cannabis is not, so it's understandable why liquor manufacturers want to keep the status quo.

I strongly suggest you avoid making any statements on line which they could use against you.

Beside, I thought Kellogs was from Battle Creek, MI., and were owned by Whirlpool or something like that. (another joke, don't really know what I'm talking about.)

That's my Libertarian side talking. No problem doing it, but step outside and cause something bad (acutally causing bodily harm to someone or someone's property, not "might" cause) while under the influence, then you're done.
 
It still amazes me that we sell liquor and cigarettes, tax them heavily, but we quibble over pot. So stupid. Oh, that's right, those aren't addictive...yeah, right.....
