It's been years in the waiting but I finally found a sought after Braun MX 32 blender for my small app collection. The mixers I've come across and they also have a blender attachment so that could be part of the reason that maybe the stand alone blender wasn't popular.

PeteK,  channel 5 tonight  on their" will it work" segment is testing  a "vitamix against the new "NINJA".   I will link the story . alr

My cousin had a toy version of that blender. It was just the coolest thing.
It had two speeds and worked really well.

That coffeemaker reminds me of a Lego Person's head! Congrats on your blender, I don't ever recall seeing a blender like that.

For the Braun blender: Coffee/spice mill needed?

I happen to have the spice mill here, I have no use for it.
Would you like it?
It is basically the same as the blender base ring, yet the blades are somewhat different. Then there is this glass dome over it, a "Braun" logo on top.
Unfortunately the threads in the glass jar have a chunk off and out, still that does not make a difference while working.

Just mail me, should you like it at all.

Thanks for the spice/coffe/grinder offer but I already have that piece :)

I think the coffee maker was called the Aromaster.. it'll be a tough find as well. But one will show up eventually, things always do.

When I was a kid these Braun appliances always looked so sleek and modern compared to ordinary stuff, because they were. And they still look completely up to date

Braun no longer sells small kitchen appliances in N.America, just electric shavers.

I don't think I've ever seen a blender from Braun, I vaguely remember them in the department store.

That coffeemaker is sweet! It is a Lego-person head!  LOL  I didn't realize Braun didn't sell any other small appliances now, other than the razor.  They always had sleek and interesting designs.  I've seen lots of these coffeemakers, they seemed to be very popular.

Pete - the mixer is awesome!  Braun really did have some pretty sweet designs.

Greg - My folks bought one of those Braun coffee makers that you posted when they were new.  It was apparently a 'big deal', considering they were replacing a worn out Mr. Coffee from the 70's!  LOL

They made these neat rectangular heaters about the shape of a clock radio or maybe a book, sort of low with a long, small diameter squirrel cage blower like in an over the stove microwave. They could be used as a desk fan in warm weather.

Congratulations on the blender ! Looks like a very sturdy beast.

Question: What is the dial on the coffee mill for ? It isn`t a timer, is it ? (Mine only has an ON/OFF switch instead)

For those who care about the Aromaster KF20 there is a vintage test from the German consumers magazine for free. Just click on the link, then click on "PDF" on the left side to download the results from 1973.

I'll have to start digging out all my Braun stuff I've got scattered and put away around here. A lot of interesting pictures on there of Brazilian appliances.. I saw there were some GE mixers in bright blue and red whereas we got the pastels. Same with the GE canister vacuum in bright orange and brown.
