The man-cave is not complete, guest bedroom is ready but lacking nick nack to dress the room up and my bedroom is 97% complete.
Overall the house is nice and comfy, just as I've stated earlier, painting will commence sometime next year, the current colors are not bad except for the kitchen nook area.

Very nice home, inside and out. And my partner and I can completely relate to not wanting anyone to hear our or our guests' noise particularly if the party should end up in the master bedroom. Looks like you made a great move Larry! Congratulations!

Now I'm cornfuzed..

Yes you are right Pete, there is a reason for this confusion!
The last owner set it up this way because the living room is much larger in this configuration and the view of the lake would be wasted if the room not used daily!
And I do agree.....

Ralph, that is so true!
Naughty movies can be cranked up and viewed without wondering if it's live or Memorex!
Now which uniform you want me in today?

LOL

Thanks Ralph,

It was a great move! I'm relaxing more each night with little worrys comparing to living in Brooklyn.
Only if you knew the stress that having a huge morgtage, tax and the price fuel to keep a multible dwelling running and tenants not paying their rents ontime......
Getting out of that has reduced my stress level by half!

What a great looking house and I love the look of your kitchen. Based on the pic of the rear of your house and the roof lines I am guessing that what you are now using as the living room was an addition that was done to the original house? The main floor of my house is very similiar to yours and I, too, now use the living room as the dining room and the dining room as the sitting room. The dining room was too cramped with the buffet and table so moving them to the living room makes it much more roomy and easier for guests. We have 2 recliners in the dining room facing the patio door (which is at ground level) so that we can watch all the nature outdoors which is great right now with the deer coming several times a day to eat the feed off the deck.
