I am assuming it needs a 30A 220V circuit-does its internal water heater(if it has one) run off 220V?-that would shorten wash times.

tolivac, I think I did read on the site that it heats it's own water.
I'm thinking something like this might be perfect for me!

I would think the ideal setup for combo machines is to have two of them-so you could do two typical loads at the same time!!would shorten wash day!!The electric feed to my home would have to be redone though-the downside for me.Probably be best for me to stay with what I have.

These 220 volt combos have been out for a few years now.They still take a while and you get best results if you remove half the load before drying.I am looking forward to seeing a full size 220 volt combo like the LGs.Let's hope.

And it's probably a 15amps machine. A pity though they used some el cheapo machine for this.

Tolivac, no space in your box for a 30 amp breaker? I'm sure you already have 220 volts available.
Foraloysius: Specs say current draw 20 amps, requires 30 amp line (standard dryer outlet here in US)
Except for this one, seems like all the combos are 110 volt compact units, still waiting for full size 220 volt (and, for that matter, gas units) to come back like the old days.
And, there is such a thing as a 20 amp, 110 volt outlet (1 of the outlet slots is horizontal or T-shaped.) Here in US, they're often used for large copiers and window/wall type A/C units. A modern home with 20 amp circuit could accomadate a unit if nothing else was on the circuit at the same time. Just would have to change out the outlet

I wonder how they calculated the 20Amps. The heating element is only 2150 Watts and the motor can't be much more than 600. So 2750 : 220 = 12.5.

Looks incredibly like a Servis (same machine internally as the cheapo Whirlpool FLs at Lowes). No pic to show though, just looked on Servis' websites and it seems like the models like the Supra have been discontinued. However, I think these models were some of the worst ones Servis made... a lot of them didn't manage to survive the 6 month mark!! (Even most Servis machines last at least a year!!)
