I found this at a garage sale the other day! The lady just gave it to me. I haven't checked it out yet ( if you notice it's still in the bed of the truck because I hiding it) I don't know anything about vacuums, can someone tell me about it? I guess what I'm asking is if it doesn't work should I pitch it or fix it?

I found the deep fryer in a basement. It works, or at least I think it does!

The hose on the vacuum seems to be in really good shape.

That Singer looks pretty cool to me, looks to be in unabused
condition; Hiding it? Too many cool items? , for the "Man"! If it don't work and you don't want to fix it "pitch it" to Grass Valley.
Does it have any of the tools? It looks like a VTV to me!

Yes that's a very cool little vacuum cleaner well worth saving. Don't you dare toss it out!!!
And the deep fryers neat too. If you're hiding these things from a significant other then whatever chance you have at a happy future together is doomed, doomed I say. I know these things.

Were going to have to keep an eye on her now that she`s hitting the estate sales! Nice finds!

Say YAY for smalls!

Bethann!

Oh girl! Now you are truly becoming hooked! Let me tell you...one can never have too many pairs of shoes or small appliances!

That's a great fryer! Is the power cord detachable or fixed? Cloth or vinyl? Paper or plastic? LOL From the pic, it looks like it doubles as a cooker.

That little Singer cannister vac is cute too! Is it a mauve colour?

You keep hitting those sales! There are so many treasures out there just waiting for a good home! :-)

I have to be careful!

He's already said, You bring one more thing in this house before you get the other projects finished I'm kicking your butt! So, I have to be careful! Once the kitchens get completed he won't be so bad. Everytime we start to work on one of the rooms you have to move everything around so, he's getting grumpy! We've got stoves, fridges, dishwashers ect. running out our butt right now. Once their in their place he won't be so bad!

Anybody have a clue what year this sweeper was made?

HI Bethann:

I would have to say in the 1960's or more like 1964. Gram bought one brand new and that was the year. She just told me so the other day. I have it!!!! Works and smells like new. Guaranteed to blo dust all over your clean house!!

Sweets, that seems to be a Singer vacuum model C1. Probably based on a Eureka design. It is used for sucking up dirt and dust from floors and other surfaces. I believe it operates on electricity.

Am I being helpful?

Seriously, how the hell did you manage to find a PINK vacuum cleaner? You must be living right!

It's lovely and definitely worth saving. Couldn't be too hard to work on. If Dean sees it just tell him you've had it for years--doesn't he notice anything?

But you still don't have a Rock 'N Mix. I do. Nyaah nyaah.
