This was made by Franklin a division of Studebaker. It may have been the same as some wizard freezers, but wizard was a brand sold by Western auto. This was not sold by Western auto.
Co-op was sold by universal cooperatives. They sold appliances through their stores and members. Their biggest group of members were farm cooperatives.
That isn't correct lint filter for agitator with Maytag
It's hard to tell but I think the filter either has mineral buildup or corrosion which gives it a matte like finish. It could be a filter from a very early '06 automatic though.
"It may have been the same as some wizard freezers, but wizard was a brand sold by Western auto"
It has the exact same door handle and guard from a Wizard fridge/freezer of the late 1950's. It also has the same exact layout as the freezer ad below. Wizard also had a "Custom" line of upright and chest freezers, that's why I mentioned it looked like a Wizard.
The wizard freezers were also made by Franklin and we’re probably pretty much identical except for the nameplate, but it’s not a wizard freezer , wizard didn’t make freezes anywaysmall technicality, lol
