Hey guys. I've been testing 2 Finish products in my dishwasher. 1 is Finish Ultimate, the other is Finish Ultimate + Infinity Shine. What's the difference between the 2?

The most important difference will be the increase in profit for Reckitt and Benckiser.
I could imagine as soon as they rolled out the Infinity Shine version the regular Ultimate`s package got a little update too including a new barcode number because they silently lowered the quality of those to force everyone into the new more expensive ones which are basically just the old ones before the update.
Most of the time marketing works exactly this way.
I`m glad I live in a country where thanks to the huge market power of discounters like Aldi and Lidl most store own brands have come to an exceptionally good quality level so I don`t have to put up with this if I don`t want to.

I have to say that I don't notice a difference between these 2 products, other than the + infinity shine designation. They look and smell the same.

Jerome, the difference may be as simple as the premium/newer product having the same ingredients as the previous product but in a different proportion. Or one different or additional ingredient. Scent isn't necessarily a factor. Search-out the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) or other formulation information to check if the difference can be determined.

I noticed that too. I checked the finish website, and they have the ultimate version, while amazon has the infinity shine version which look exactly the same to me. Also, On the finish website I went directly to the amazon link, and there it took me to infinity shine.
