A first for the Ephemera Library. I recently found a mid 1970's set of operating instructions/installation instructions for the common black control panel belt-drive, 70 series Kenmore washers. It is scanned and now posted, along with a few other things...

I had a similar model to this from 1979 with a dual-action agitator, and the Pre-Wash cycle used high agitation instead of low like this 1976 model. Anyone know what year exactly they changed the speeds, and did that also apply to Pre-Soak? It doesn't give details on the Permanent Press cool down sequence, but I thought that this was the first year of models when they introduced the pause process.
