First photos won't display

I'm having a problem with photos at present:

Whenever there is a photo in a post, the first photo doesn't show. I see an image of an automatic washer holding a box of AW powder. I can click to photo 2, 3 etc but when I go back to photo 1 I still get the AW image instead.

I'm using Firefox 33 with Xubuntu Linux.

Can you try it in another browser Chris, I want to narrow that down to your browser or operating system. Has it always been like this or is this something that just started for you?

I cannot replicate that, so it might be something local to you. Has anyone else experienced this on picture #1 in any of the picture boxes?

Hi Robert, thanks for helping.

This has happened on and off I think. It is not new.
I think I have been having this issue for many weeks / months, then it was working properly, now it's back.

I use several computers on and off so I can't be sure if the changes I've seen are the problem coming and going on one computer, or just switching between machines.

Switching between Xubuntu, Linux Mint and Windows 7. Firefox on each.

I'll try other browsers, over the next few days. I have other computer issues to sort out first.....
