Oh just Beautiful Greg!

Gosh I love snow so much (the northern powder variety), its one of my most favorite things. We had a few flakes go by the window on Sunday although it was too warm and they melted instantly, otherwise nothing yet. But I'm hopeful within the next few weeks we will have our first. I love getting to turn the dial in my truck to 4WD ***click***. YAY!

4WD ***click***. YAY!

Robert, you're too much!

I'm looking forward to not having a ton of snow this year...
After 24 years in Milwaukee.. with below zero wind-chills and snow; bring on some southern winter weather!

((Although I probably just jinxed it; we'll probably have one of the coldest, snowiest winters in NC history now that I said that.))

BRRRRRRR!!!

No snow here yet, its almost 60 degrees out, but damp and drizzly.
here's the view out my guest room window about 3 minutes ago

Snow? Temp at the moment is 79°F, with a predicted high of 85°F (may not get there) ... although a drop is coming by Thursday. Lowest predicted temps in the next 10 days are daytime 63°F on 11/24 and nighttime 39°F on 11/25. Predictions change by the hour, so who knows ...

No snow yet and a very delayed heating season. YAY <br
The water that surrounds us in this area acts as a heat-sink. (and temperatrue-swing damper). We cool down in fall more slowly and warm up in spring more slowly! <br
The ground (and I think the water) is at least three months behind what the air is doing temperature-wise!

High temps today locally will only reach the low-mid 60's. One of the cooler days we've had lately. One forecaster said to expect a warm-up towards the weekend, while another said to get ready for temps to drop. With all the computer equipment these days, how can two weather teasers contain such conflicting information? <br
Hoping for some good beach weather next week as I will be off and would like to relax in the Santa Cruz sun while enjoying adult beverages.

4 x 4

Well today was the first day I put the truck into 4 wheel drive. We got about an inch and amazing how people forget that this stuff is slippery, many idiots off the road, going to fast around corners and ramming each other in the rear end. (oh my), At least didn't have to put the plow on. Don't worry Robert your time is coming to play in the snow

Nice picture, Greg; very Christmassy looking.

At least you lot get decent snow, we have to make do with random winters. Last winter was very mild.

We had a brief flurry of wet, sleety snow one evening, about ten days ago. The snowflakes were massive, but totally gone by morning.

I have agree with Robert, a snow-laden scene is my favourite too.

Hi Greg....

Good to see you posting again! I just love snow and miss this time of year up north sooo much. Here in Florida, it was about 78 degrees and sunny today.

Who wants to trade weather/homes???

=)
