Never knew Hotpoint made top loaders until now
What a marvelous brochure of strangeness.
Starting with the hair and working upward, what is that graphic that's slightly to the right of her head? Is that supposed to be a "10"? And if it is, what's it for? Looks to be a 1969 brochure and I guess by then GE's and Hotpoints dishwashers were all "Seth Brundleflied". Still, if I found one of these in a second-hand store, or, dare I say it, Craigslist, I don't think I'd turn my nose up at it. Also, probably one of the only top loading dishwashers at the time with a water meter.

Compared to the portables in earlier years, this style has private parts that should be hidden hanging out and visible everywhere. You would almost want to park it with the front facing the wall or cover it with a shroud.
I got my hands on some Hotpoint portable DW literature. They had both HP and GE made machines. GE made the top loaders and HP made the front opening convertible portables for the HP badge. I had always been curious about Hotpoint's Pots and Pans cycle and this literature answered it, at least for the mid-to-late 60s models similar to this one. The GE-made models that had a P&P cycle skipped the drain at the end of the main wash and kept washing through the first rinse period to extend the wash time. The HP models just eliminated the dry after the regular normal cycle so you could scour the softened stuff.
