Well, I just saw this on the USA site for Fisher & Paykel. It is apparently a version of the AquaSmart washer without an LCD screen. The model number is WL37T26DW1. There is still no matching dryer(an AeroSmart dryer without and LCD screen
on the site.

There is a matching dryer for that machine...they have them at Lowe's. It's a top load dryer, still called the AeroSmart, identical in design to the washer. That washer is the impeller style machine, no agitator.

I know the washer is impeller-style. It is an All-HE Top-Loader. Also, do you have a link to the matching dryer on the Fisher & Paykel website?

The matching dryer (without the LCD panel) isn't available yet, so its matching dryer right now is the one with the LCD panel. I gather the other machine is coming very shortly.

Jonathan, the lock mechanism is a hook set on a pivot. The lid tab presses on the lower "foot" of it and the hook pivots forward to engage in the lid tab. To trick the mechanism, insert a slim object such as a table knife or spoon handle, into the slot at an angle, aiming at the bottom of the hook and hold it down. Once the locking solenoid triggers, it'll stay down. Aiming properly is a bit tricky, the object will tend to block the hook from moving forward.

I cut a hole in an old credit card to approximate the lid tab. The card is a little on the flimsy side but works well-enough.

Could you make videos of the washer? I've always wanted to see a Fisher & Paykel washer run.
