I did not know that the Flair ovens were available separately--without the cooktop.
As for the price, this seller is obviously from the PT Barnum school of business.

I am starting to fear my strong liking of SS. When does such a thing become problematic? LOL

There were a couple of streets in our subdivision that had a builder (or builders) who put in Frigidaire kitchens. They all had Flair 30" wall ovens. I had no idea a 40" double width one was aavailable.
Yet another seller that wants to pay for their whole kitchen remodel based on an appliance that will appeal to maybe one person in the country who can use such an odd-sized oven in their own kitchen.
The oven in the movie "Blast from the Past" was indeed a Flair, but it was attached to a cooktop and cabinet and turquoise - even then, still not worth a cagillion dollars.

OY! Honestly I think it would be more likely to sell if it was a Flair range and not just the wall oven.
Still, that price...some people shouldn't even try! LOL

Built in 2nd hand appliances
Yes this seller had better come down to earth. I found in my own shop that a used built in anything is just a boat anchor. Folks will gladly buy a used freestanding range, refer, washa or dryer, but NO ONE wants to take a chance on a used built in. At least not here.

In Southern California...
I know of a nice restorable complete Flair Range with cabinet, range and ovens. I would rather see it go to someone here than just sit outside.
It looks like it just needs a good cleaning, the guy wanted $350, but I bet $250 cash and you haul it would work.
Let me know if anyone is interested.
