An Update!
Just thought I'd give you all the latest "flea update" from Joe.
He's heard from Brian, and from what he was told, the cat is out of the neighborhood (picked up my animal control). He's using some of the methods that were sent to him, and said that the population is decreasing (I also think it helped before he went out of town for a few days, it gave the borax and salt a chance to work on the little suckers).
Joe has also informed me that Brian intends on moving from this house (it's a rental) and going to the other side of town within the next few weeks. He wants to know two things:
1. Is it OK to sprinkle a bit of borax and salt in his moving boxes to get rid of any fleas that might be lingering on other items or clothing?
2. Will a thorough carpet cleaning help get rid of any other fleas in the carpet? He plans on renting a Rug Doctor for this.
Thanks for the help, guys...all three of us appreciate it.
