I installed unglazed porcelain floor tile as part of my kitchen renovation last year. I don't use my kitchen much so keeping it clean enough hasn't been bad. My house was recently broken into. That resulted in fingerprinting powder residue all over my poor house. I have found that straight ammonia does a pretty good job of cleaning it up, if I get on the floor and scrub.
My thoughts were to get the floor clean and then to apply a few coats of a sealer. I am wondering how useful one of those small floor scrubbers might be. I realize that I would still need to do the edges and corners myself. My house is almost entirely hardwood and tile floored. Thank God, as carpet would have been trashed.
