Are you able to get cookies made by Leclerc?  IIRC,  they used to supply the Kmart brand back in the early 90's and Dollah General brand up until a few years ago. They were tasty to say the least.  I have yet to find a mass market choc chip cookie that comes close to those made by Leclerc.

 

I emailed the company and they told me their Choco line made with Belgian chocolate is not available in the US.

Yes they are available in pretty much every grocery store. I'm not a serious cookie eater.. well that is to say I don't buy them, but won't refuse one.I wasn't even familiar with this brand up until about 10 years ago btw. Anyways ff to when we moved back here 10 years ago and my mother would always have Leclerc's wafer cookies (sort of like a Kit Kat)to have whenever her friends popped in for coffee etc. When she finally went into a home I'd pick up a box of them but for some reason I was finding that particular cookie hard to find. Last time I looked, Leclerc cookies were still on the shelves in southwestern Québec.  I don't buy cookies often, but the Leclerc cookies are really good!
