Honestly, I can't recall. I've been using the Fuller86 in the front-loader lately, where the recommended 1/8 cup dose brings down the cost per load. The recommended dose for top-loader in soft water is 1/4 cup. I'll run a load in the Speed Queen and let you know if it makes the water milky.
 
Update: The answer is yes. Fuller86 does turn the water a slightly milky color and produces almost no suds when using medium-to-high water levels in the Speed Queen. It does produce suds if I use high speed agitation on the Mini water level (surprise, surprise). It rinses out well, whether suds are present or not.[this post was last edited: 12/12/2013-10:29]
