Is Gloria Vanderbilt Anderson Cooper's mother? I seem to remember reading that in an article by Cooper in Details.

Upon further research online and talking to Robert (aka 'Miss I thought it was common knowlege...') the stories of his appearances at local NYC gay clubs and events are quite common.
I say we get him elected president in '08. His no-nonsense style of looking at events around the world and a little bit of the boyish charm would go a long way to improving worldwide opinion of not only the office of the president, but our whole country!
I'm not sure this country is ready for a gay president, but if they angle the cameras away from the sling in the oval office, who would know? Besides, imagine the fabulous state dinners on Presidential china designed by his mother that would make Nancy Reagan blush!
