This one has been discontinued. And no thay are Not selling these at pc richard. I can only order them through camping world. The newer models are 7100 series for Non vented which is what I want - the vented one is 2100. I want to actually look at one before I purchase. Also this is not like the Equator I had - my Equator was strictly a mechinical timer.
Let me see if I can attach the link for this company and anyone with positive or negative experiences with them please let me know.

It's probably a very older model - because nothing today uses too much water!! (now we need more water in them)

Pete,the controls are different but it is deffinately made by Philco of Italy.They also made your older model.

Those machines are 100% Indesit made, I didn't know that Philco Italia did made those before, I know it was bought from the company in 2003. Here are the models one next to its Indesit companion.
They added the double fill option and eliminated the auto-dry function from the white model (vented).
If they kept the specs similar at 1200 rpm the residual moisture is 53%
And the water consumption to wash and dry (condenser model) is 180 litres, to wash only (or vented model) is 62 litres
As reference I used the WIDXXL 126 (EU) model

So tell me Gabriele are they relaible machines? I would get the Non vented model 7100. They do look nice and I want to get some reviews here on them. Being I do line dry a lot of my clothes a combo would work well for me if it is reliable. Keep me posted.

Many will tell you that Indesit (also applies to all the other brands of the group) aren't reliable. I will prove this wrong. This is only because Indesit covers all the spectrum of the price line, form very bottom machines (quite often you see them on sale for 259 euros, like the model WIN600) to high end ones (like the Moon and Aqualtis, brand name Hotpoint-Ariston, ranges) that retail for 700+ €.
I personally used a WD125T washer-dryer while in Germany as it was put up as a backup machine in a laundry room of our university dorm as the 2 professional Miele were out of service! They were repaired on the very last days but I continued to use the Indesit machine because it did everything in one go, without need for the dryer and the results were always great (Plus it didn't need coins to operate!)
I'm attaching a link for the consumer reviews on Ciao.it for model WIDL126 that looks similar to the one you're getting. On 8 reviews, 7 are positive and one complains of a faulty electronic board when washing with hot water.
As for personal experience I can tell you that Indesit is by far the most common applicance brand here in Italy and people get them because they trust the brand, otherwise, Candy, Smeg, Hoover, Ariston-Hotpoint, Siemens and Bosch... are all in similar price ranges.
Other than this my kitchen is 100% Indesit appliances: hobs, oven, fridge and dishwasher and everything works flawlessy. Also my old washing machine was part of the Indesit family, a Philco Italia that got replaced with a rinse-no-no crappy Whirlpool after 15 years of service only because we got tired of it being only 600rpm spinner.
My mother and grandma and 2 aunts have Indesit appliances, and so far nobody complained of anything.
I can't tell you model names but my mother has a machine from 1994 and is still in heavy use with only a door boot change and my aunt has the cheap model I told you (WIN600) from 3 years ago and it works just fine.
After this I can tell you that Equator machines are made by Bompani and that one sure is a lousy brand, I'd stay away from them! From the big and important company it was in the past now it shrunk to a small name on only-god-knows appliances that are almost never seen in stores.
It's a good thing that you air-dry most of your laundry because with the European models, with a 2000W heater, a full load of 5 kg can get as much as 2-2:30 hours to dry, with a smaller heater I don't know how long drying will take!

I think the capacity on these splendide models is larger than the Indesit models in Italy - but maybe I'm wrong. I think they are now equal to 7K. I still have to find out where I can go to see one first. The stores around here do not carry them. Im on my way to work - I will chat with you soon.

There are many capacity ranges, from compact machines that hold 4,5 Kg (10 pounds) to 7Kg (15,5 lbs) ones.
Here's the 7Kg condenser washer dryer.

The characteristics are similare to the Splendide one, but this is cold fill only and, of course, 230V.
Wash and dry takes 4 hours and 20 minutes for a load of 7 Kg but of that 2 hours and 20 minutes are due to the 60°C A class certified wash that all the machines have because they need to get good grades in the washing test to have "wash efficency A" in the energy label and because of this the 60°C cycle can be even 40 minutes longer than the boil wash or 90°C one that is the longest one.
BTW: for the European Union energy label this machine gets A class also for energy and this is rare for a washer-dryer. Figures that other than this only Miele and Ariston (actually Indesit) have reached A class for energy in washer-dryer here.
In real terms this means that it should use less energy than two separate A class washer and dryer.

Thanks so much for the information. In the spec sheets I only see 6k washer / dryer combos. The splendid is 15 pound for the wash cycle. But these do look a lot alike the splendide. I do not really approve of such long cycles. But now here in america the machines are being designed to run a lot longer than before. I also perfer a larger capacity. I am also single but I feel the more you can wash - the better. But 15 pounds is cool. But I wouldn't want to go smaller. The equator I used to have used to do the washing and rinsing in about 50 minutes. The drying was long but like I said I hang a lot of laundry. The LG I last had was a disaster in many ways and the wash and rinse was about 1 1/2 hours. You would think in this fast paced world they would design these machines to run faster. But now energy use is a top priority. Right now I want to see where I can see these machines and find out about servicing in my area. I will defiantly keep you posted. It is interesting to recieve all this information.
