This reminds me of the "brick-in-the-box" scam, sold in a VCR box we had going in the area long ago.

I can't figure out why anyone would buy something without first taking a look inside.

But then again, that's just me.

I mean I'm pretty damn stupid at times, but really! A oven door as a TV!

My opinion: If they can't figure out the difference then that's what they get! And since I don't have any black faced oven doors, I guess I don't have to worry about it!
