Has anyone gotten this yet? It's a great little gadget for holding the attachments. I saw it online and ordered one. Out of Boise, Idaho!

Thats a neat gadget. However, I just keep them in the bowl which is attached to the mixer. This way....I just pull the mixer out and everything is in one place.

Interesting item. But I too just keep them in the bowl. The "tupperware" lid still fits fine on the bowl and it keeps the dust off the attachments but you do have to get each one in there just right.

Gary, you raised a very good point. Counter space is very limited in our rickety 80-year old kitchen so the MixerMaid would come in handy while the mixer is being used, but if the only option is under-counter mounting, that won't work for me.

I think inside a cupboard door isn't a bad idea, but for me it would create issues with the attachments bumping up against whatever is in the cupboard and perhaps the door not closing.

We have a low false ceiling over the stove area where the mixer lives, which is a possible option for a MixerMaid, but we're hoping to remove that ceiling to re-establish a ventilation system so my search for a MixerMaid location continues. I really like the concept. I just don't have a lot of options for it.

Nice gizmo, thanks for sharing.

My kitchen(s) have the issue that most KA mixers (including the two lift bowls I own) won't fit under the wall cabinets. Just not enough room. So there's an area beside the cooktop in the main kitchen where I keep the mixer. There's a high cabinet beside the range hood over that spot, and it's possible the Mixermaid rack would fit there, with the attachments.

Mixer Stand

Rich this is what we had put in our kitchen last year when we had water damage and had to redo the whole kitchen. No lifting or pulling. We store all of our things below the stand in the cabinet. Our cabinet door front we had cabinet guy make a false drawer front and door front. Looking at the cabinet with door closed no one knows that it is the mixer below. Worth every penny it cost us.

Oh yeah Charles, that is exactly what we hope to incorporate into our kitchen cabinets if and when we remodel. My dad's old desk from the 40's has this similar arrangement for a typewriter.
