Hi Everyone:
I have a neighbor with a KitchenAid Tall Tub dishwasher (Model KUDK03IT) and am wondering if anyone knows how to go into the service mode and force a soil sensor adjustment? I know that it will happen after a predetermined number of cycles. I have done a fair amount of cleaning on their machine (bad scale buildup...now gone) with dishwasher cleaner and extra citric acid. Now that everything is clean, I would like to go in and see if I can reset the sensor now.

I searched the archives and was not able to find a reference to this.

Thanks,
Bob

Here ya go Bob, I did this on my comparable Kenmore Elite

<span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;">with the door latched and no cycles selected, press the following buttons within 6 seconds</span>

<span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: sans-serif;">heated dry</span>
<span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: sans-serif;">normal</span>
<span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: sans-serif;">heated dry </span>
<span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: sans-serif;">normal
</span>
<span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: sans-serif;">you can rapid advance through the test mode using the start key.  This will also reset the control.  During the next full cycle the machine will calibrate itself.</span>
