sweet smelling Sassoon

veg,I too loved the smell of the original VS shampoo, sorta cherry almond, made a wonderful face wash, shave "soap",and shower gel as well as being superior to the revamped 1986 Formula A, B, C, D.

Anyone remember...

... dry shampoo in an aerosol can? I can't remember the brand name, but I looked for it last year after I broke my arm (Easier to spray than lather with a fracture) and came up empty.

Dry Shampoo

"Psssssst" by Clairol. And I know I got the right number of "esses" in the name, as I hummed the jingle as I typed. Amazingly, they still make the stuff. Walgreens carries it. I suppose other places do, too, but Walgreens is what I remember.

There was also MiniPoo, but that didn't come in a spray can. Anyone remember who made it?

westie2---YES! It was Fels Naptha. Thanks for replying.

On Cashmere Bouquet--- My dad was a traveling hearse/ambulance salesman in the mid-1960's and each week he used to bring me little bars of soap from the motel/hotels he'd stayed at. (Come to think of it, how freakin' cheap was THAT?!)

Anyway, I had quite a soap collection, and I recall that many of them were Cashmere Bouquet. They must have been a big supplier to motels in the midwest. Oh, the simple pleasures of early childhood.
