No Pink?

Darn. Thats disappointing.

Thanks for the scanns, Rick. So cool.

Foundation Garments? lol. I haven't worn a girdle in a while now, but I really appreciated the support it gave me.
I suppose athletic supporters could also be considered Foundation Garments so one could also call this the "Jock Strap" cycle.

No problem Erik. Glad you enjoyed them.

Yes, no pink by 1966. I think pink must have gone out by the early 1960's. I was shocked that Maytag had the dreaded Avocado by 1966, but Frigidaire was still doing Turquoise! At least we cannot blame Avocado on Frigidaire... lol!! Too bad they stopped offering turquoise! Avocado was such a ugly colour to replace Turquoise with. >: I do not recall ever seeing any Frigidaire Rapid Dry machines in Avocado, but am sure they were out there somewhere.

there is no finer after school treat with coffee and a sweet

You talk about a washing machine from heaven. Jesus H !!!!

Soak AND wash AND SOAP too--This thing is nuts!

And you could have it with a Suds-saver and TWO MORE buttons--RICK!! 'm friggin' gasping.

How smart and specific they are about getting rid of sudslock--pump on and water entering; they forgot to tell us to switch to cold rinse.

Now I know why that shade of copper was so intense--it's AZTEC copper and may contain blood ; D

Rick, that is surely one of the coolest machines ever made, and I'm so glad you got it. You'll stay up at night in the dark watching the magic glass control window advance without a knob, making the copper shimmer as if alive.

Thank You so much for the feast.

Mike

congratulations! You have a great machine. I found something for you that you might find interesting! hope your machines grow on you and i might see your collection in person one day,,,darren k.

Rick thank you for the scans. How about the dryer? BTW, 1965 was the last year for Pink from Frigidaire I do believe. And there were avocado (or their verison of green) rapdi drys. 1967 or 1968 was the 1st year.
