Does anyone know the water temperature to which these heat? If it's 150F, I can get that out of my tank when it's firing. I also have a 3000 watt induction unit and a 7 quart stainless steel teakettle in which I could heat enough water to boiling to boost the wash fill beyond the temp at which the washer would probably call for heat.
I like the adjustable settings of the water heating feature in my machines that offer it. I usually wash my permanent press loads in the Creda. If I have been working around my Bananas and some of the other tropical plants, the leaf edges can leave traces of sap that must be washed out in cold water or else it will leave brown streaks when subjected to the heat of the dryer. I can do a profile wash, i.e. start the load with the 80F fill that is the cold water supply to the machines and set the machine to heat to 115 for the wash, giving the sap time to dissolve in the cooler water before being set by the warmer water.
