at goodwill today, they want $29 for it. I didn't get it (yet) because it has the digital controls on it and from what I've read this model isn't very reliable. Don't know if it works right or not, but I may give it a whirl at that price. It's from around 2005 or so. My old mechanical one is now 18 years old and is on its third motor and second drain pump. Everything else is original. I'd be happy if it would run forever because I don't like ANY of the new machines! I love Asko's front door seal, it's like the larger speed queen's at the Laundromat, no bellows type.

take it please, it's interesting

Hey;
Yes Asko is fine, but not the best. Actually that was my opinion so of course the newer asko washers are more quiet that the older ones even in 2005 series
I love the both top and front loaders, each one has it own benefits and of course some disadvantages.
The best front load I ever seen is the Miele washers, so good, so quiet, high- end washers built for last

BJ.

Did you get it?

In my opninion, the W6461 is one of the most reliable of the W-series until 2007.
As an technician for Asko, I've only replaced control board ONCE! Worn brushes is normal after ca 10 years normal/hard use, and pumps almost never.

Had a W6461 and a T741C dryer for a few years, and now a friend have them, still going strong.
