Here's what I know. 

 

Someone really should save this, even if it is a hardmount Bendix, vs. a Gyromatic.

Wow

thats beautiful and rare! If it is a hard mount then it would be an easy restore as the soft mount of this year had a unique and bizarre door boot that is so weird you'd never find even a similar match today.
A hard mount will only have a nice rubber ring.

John (gyromatic) has sent 3 messages, I've sent 2 and no response back to either of us... not sure what's up with the machine. I was going to pick it up for John this weekend... neither of us have heard if it's still there or gone for scrap...jim
