In Southern California we are very fortunate to have many wonderful ethnic grocery stores. At one of my favorite Middle Eastern groceries, I always make a point of passing through the detergent/cleaning supply aisle because one never knows what will turn up. Today, I found bags of Tide intended for the Vietnamese market. The bags indicated the product contained phosphates. They also had powdered Roma and Ariel (their usual brands) with phosphates but this type of Tide was a new offering.
The Ariel they carry is the type intended for hand washing and top loading machines. The packages have a small warning label advising users to use the "low sudsing" Ariel for front loading machines. Has anyone seen the low sudsing Ariel at these types of establishments?
