Free 1965 GE Dishwasher

It’s a project dishwasher. The cabinet does have some rust around the seal, but it’s not gotten to the point that it’s unsalvageable. The motor on the other hand will need to be repaired or replaced. The racks are pretty nice. I got this to match my refrigerator, but I’m going to use a KitchenAid instead. Free to a good home. Currently in the greater Atlanta Area, but it could make its way up the 75 corridor to Cincinnati if need be.

i just love those old g.e. machines, have 4 top loaders and one front loader, i'm curious to see if i can repair the one you have now.

i just found two

brand new pump deals for those g.e. dishwashers. thought i had used my last one. bought them years ago from larry at modern parts in parma, ohio.

so again i am definately hoping we can meet somewhere, sometime and i can get that front load g.e. from you. if i can get the upper impeller off i can easily rebuild that pump. i also have an extra motor and upper impeller so that little dishwasher will most probably run again!

again, i have a surplus of kitchenaid 17 models if you are interested. thanks!

i could meet you anywhere in cinti this week, am off work. am in columbus now. i will check my email.

i have that kds-18 in avacado but not sure if i have any panels for the 17 or less in avacado. will check. the 18 i just rebuilt the pump on, also have extra parts for the 18-20's i would give away.

the earlier 17 models i mentioned i have never looked at, don't know what they need to work well. but i do know seals are easy to get and cheap.

i assume you decided not to give me that g.e. front load dishwasher as your original post telling me to check my email and that you had dishwasher in ohio was posted 4-25-21. it is now 5-4-21 and i never heard a word.

i did check all past and current email and nothing has come from you to [email protected] i also posted my phone no. here so you could call.

i would have paid you for it, even though you offered it free. i really don't need it, i have another front load g.e. with the vertical pump i got 10 years ago and have yet to touch. but i will always take another, for parts if nothing else.

oh well, i have learned from collecting for over 10 years that some come, some go, some are offered, some disapear before you get em! either way, not worth fretting about! a bit of communication from you would have been a common courtesy but i have also learned that when you deal with people on line you sometimes get it, sometimes you don't. not worth fretting about that either!

I assumed my email went to spam but I also replied to their post that I was interested. I agree that I didn’t need them either, just wanted to save them.
