FREE(as in "free") Vintage Jenn-Air dishwasher (Arden)

"Want to go retro? We just bought a house that has had little updating since the 70s. Dishwasher and double oven seem to be original or very old.

Anyway, we had a decorator tell us that there might be someone out there that would like these appliances. Especially since they are in decent condition for their age. I don't see any noticible nicks or dings.

I found that the drive belt on the dishwasher was broken when I took it out, but the motor powered on before I decided to replace the unit with a more up to date model

That is a thing of exquisite beauty.  And yeah, every time I've found a belt-drive RR, the belt's broken.  C'est la vie.

it was love at first sight - but then love is blind...especially if you haven't owned one of these before. But it's nice to hear that this one has merits to its attractive exterior. I wish there were better photos of the panel, too.
