Thought of you Louie and yours when I saw it. Is it the same year as yours? Is yours a single oven too?

It's a 1962 model. First year of the new Ultramatic style. Mine is slightly newer being a 1964 model. Mine is fully decked out with 5th burner/griddle, Ultra ray broiler, etc. I do have one oven, I think these stoves never came with two ovens. Anyway, I really want it for my sister. She bought a Kenmore 10 years ago, (and it's, surprise!) a POS. Anyway, I hope I can get it. I'd HATE if a scraper got it.

Good to hear. Now the 10 year old "new" Kenmore can go away and be replaced with a 55 year old Caloric. Something seems backwards about that??

Early 60s Coloric Gas Ranges

Glad you are getting this Louis, Coloric did make dual oven versions of this size range, we have a customer with one.

That's right John, what was I thinking, they did have a second oven configuration. As well as a space heater if memory serves me. This Caloric is missing the knobs for the panel and oven lights, or perhaps the switches as well. That would be a piece of cake to fix.
