I like that it's a transitional model with the knob/magnetic latch on the door instead of the handle.
This is a rare case of the poster knowing exactly what they have, but still giving it away. Maybe I'll run into this same scenario with a nearby 806/710/712 washer sometime soon.
Talk about sheer luck of circumstance and your thoughts. Maybe someday, dreams will come true. Boy, if I were close to some of these things, I'd have to talk to Mr. Allocation about Mr. Space. It's a pleasing design!
Actually these had a cheap plastic washer that held the door closed that often broke, MT didn't get smart enough to use a good magnetic catch till the 06 dryers came out in 1966.
And, it's not a large capacity; it is the small HOH drum in the old wide cabinet for lots of wasted space. Maytag went from the check rated old style dryer to the HOH that was never rated very highly.
