Not exactly a direct GE clone - this was built at the factory in Chicago, porcelain interior and door liner. The upper rack never bothered me much for loading, it was quite similar to the standard racks in GE branded plastic tub machines, but that lower rack is all GE.
GE wash system, no filter and the predictable results are a given but the real joy, as Eddie mentioned, is the noise. With the metal- porcelain tank and those huge ropes of water swirling around inside makes for a real shoulder-hunching treat. With this one being a portable, the torture must be nearly unbearable.
Still, it's free and if Old Mother Hubbard didn't have a dishwasher, she'd welcome it with open arms.
