Check for any rust spots on the racks. - they can be touched up with JB Weld,
Check underneath for any signs of leakage stains, and insure the hose clamps are snug.
If possible, hook it up in the garage with a temp water line and give it a cycle, observing underneath for leaks and any strange noises.
Good luck, they're great machines, my KDC-19's been in use for decades.

So I picked it up tonight and my surprise it’s actually in good shape minus the bottom rack which I’ve already thrown out because it was in very bad shape . But here’s the kicker when I arrived they had already brought it outside for me, but it was missing the top kickplate and they have told me that they cannot find it anywhere…. So now I am missing two kick plates for this machine … It runs well but man is it ever noisy compared to my whisper quiet KUD22 … I’ve already ordered a new seal kit and if I’m correct this is the motor that’s rebuildabe ? Also, would anyone happen to have a quick plate for this machine laying around?
