That looks like it could actually be a KDS16A.
I wish they still made these.

My favorite vintage KA DW, I have one in the service kitchen in our house in W Va, and we have the KDSS16 in the museum [ with the SS tank ]
KA built the 15-18 Superba with a SS tank option, I have never seen an 18with the SS tank, that would be cool.
Hi Bob, there was no A on the end of the model # on the KDS16 machines, that did not come till the 17 series on the energy saver dry models.
