This is an early 70s model and depending on your electric rate these can cost close to a dollar a day to run, they are good for warming up a cold kitchen in the winter however.

Always wanted one for bragging rights. The vacation house I rent in FL has one, it is only 5 yrs old. The interior lights don't work due to a short. The icemaker has been replaced 3 times. The defrost cycle failed, iced up and when the owner shut it down to melt the ice berg it leaked out of the bottom door and ruined the wood venier (owners fault). Home owner very disappointed in it. Sadly she had the Siematic kitchen built around it.
