It's crunch time in Ogden... Either I move some appliances out or they go 'crunch'... We don't want to think about that, however!

I have not had this more modern Frigidaire for long and have only used it a few times.  And, full disclosure, I have been disappointed by its washing performance.  The two best results I've had with this dishwasher were a load of dishes that I was given as a gift and a load of dishes that got a 'power pre-wash' in the '62 Mobile Maid before I burst the fill hose on that dishwasher...

It is a cool-looking machine and it would appear to be one of the very last portable top-loaders made by Frigidaire.  The avocado cabinet is a little rough, but the interior (racks, silverware basket, tub) are in excellent shape.

The machine is at the house in Ogden, near the Quebec/Vermont border.

Now, I think we can all guess why I'm looking for a new home for this one (hint: INGLIS.... LOL)

That's about the size of it Tom.  I found there was more shmutz sprayed onto glassware than was taken off - this coming from the owner of _how many_ impeller dishwashers!

Maybe that '58 spin-tube isn't going to be a good fit for the kitchen in St-Lib....  LOL

I could get clean dishes out of a 1960 spin tube, but the water heater was set to one notch below "steam explosion" and I scraped the dishes, but did not pre rinse before loading. The family used to put all of the dishes in a sink of detergent and water and wash them before loading. They were amazed that it would actually wash dishes. For heavily soiled loads I opened the door and added detergent to make the first of the 4 rinses a second wash. It was one of those with the solenoid thump at the drain and the strainer lifted to help get rid of shmutz.
