Sadly, that feature only works for the inside.

I'm not seeing any chips on the porcelain top so this could be a diamond in the rough.

If those small black bits are rodent feces consider the following: rat/mouse droppings can carry many diseases including hantavirus, leptospirosis, lymphocytic choriomeningitis (LCMV), Tularemia and Salmonella.

Not to mention possible damage to the insulation and wiring.

Not worth the risk/effort.

Like to see the insides of the Dishwasher and fridge.Noticed by the sorroundings of these machines all could contain rat,mouse messes and roaches.All of those would need a date with a pressure washer before reuse!
