Well guys, post your Friday Bobloads™ here!

I'll get about to mine tomorrow morning, before I march out the door for work (Yeah, 6am!)

Friday seems like the ideal day - parting night (or is that Saturday?) - As a socia-phobe, I don't really know this stuff (all I know is a lot of people I know seem to "enjoy" illicit drugs... Quite scary!)

This was washed in our Kenmore Ultra wash, pots and pans cycle, water heat on, heated dry off. Cascade w/ Gain scent actionpac, 1/2 tablespoon lemishine in each compartment. All came out spotless.

What can't be seen is: the corningware dish in the bottom rack had squash in it, probably still had half a cup when it went in, the saucepan in the top rack had stuck on mashed potatoes, the orange pyrex bowl had meatloaf mix, the 9x13 pyrex dish in the front had burned on meatloaf grease.

Is that a Whirlpool PowerClean (or equivalent) you are using? Also, how long did it take to wash that nicely soiled wash load?

If yours could do it in 114 or more, then so could my DD (but we're using the normal cycle more and more for that stuff - I think though when we do end up needed a heavier cycle, I just hit the Heavy Eco cycle, since its hotter and still has 3 rinses {Hoo-Rar!})

Yes, it is the kenmore rebadge of a whirlpool power clean. I would guess it took maybe an hour and a half. The pots and pans cycle is: heated prewash, rinse, heated main wash, purge, 2 heated rinses and dry if selected. I haven't found anything the pots and pans cycle won't shift. Normal works for most anything, which omits the heated prewash.

We'll have ten people here for a BBQ tomorrow. I'll use real plates along with other serving pieces. I might have the makings of a BobLoad for the ISE Classic Supreme afterward and will document it here if that's the case.

1.5 Hours! My Heavy and Heavy Eco cycles are 94 and 90 mins (if you stop and flash-dry, save 30min). Do you know the maximum temperature for these cycles (it would be interesting). My Heavy Cycle is as follows: Main-Wash, Rinse, Rinse, Rinse, Fan-dry - at "high" pressure. I add some extra water sometimes to help when it gets sudsy in there. Delicate is the same, except the rinses are shorter (final rinse is about 15 mins), allowing hot water to come to the machine (3-5mins in length). Delicate uses the same temp as Normal, but at lower pressure. We use this cycle, as it's good for daily soils.

We'd use Fast, but despite having a slightly Higher Temp mainwash, the pressure is lower than Normal, but higher than Delicate. I have had moderately good results, although I think the wash cycle is too short to allow detergent to "activate" the way it should (and our poor scraping doesn't help either).

Ok, enough of that! Here is a "Bob-Load" enough... This is pretty much the most dishes we'll create in a day. We can get by running the DD every 2 days, but really, it is meant to be run daily (innit?) Besides, we always used the Dishlex Dishwasher back in Perth daily on the Quick 30 cycle, using 9L of water, so this is the same

Sorry!

I forgot photos at the end of the cycle. D'oh! Everything EXCEPT that little bowl on the 2nd shelf got clean (I opened the DD during the 2nd rinse, rinsed it out and put it back!) Another plate also had 1-2 immovable bits of knurr on it. Nothing a tea-towel didn't fix though!

Like I said before, from now on when we need more "oomph," I think we'll just step right up to Heavy, and skip fast/normal. Why both adding 20mins, when you can add another 6-10 without too much pain? (84mins for Normal - 90/94mins for Heavy?)

I wouldn't mind seeing some new bobloads, and I will try to submit pics of my larger loads. Lately I've been doing smaller loads that just don't qualify as bobloads, but when I get a large load I will take some pics and post in this thread.

Holiday Weekend BoBQ Load in the Classic Supreme

I'm only posting "after" pix here. A guest who meant well loaded the plates and flatware while I wasn't present, rinsed everything thoroughly, placed plates facing toward the sides of the tub, and nested all of the flatware. I had to undo all of that before adding the rest of the pieces. Due to her rinsing and the way the rest of the large pieces were aimed, a "before" picture wouldn't have looked much different from an "after" one.

Not a super challenging load, but the only spare room on the lower rack would be for a small item or two under the oval Mc Coy serving bowl at left front.

Top Rack

Not my best work, but the mix of items didn't lend itself to the kind of cramming I like to do. That is not film on the Pyrex measuring cup. It has been somewhat cloudy for years. The coffee carafe is a good indicator of how the rest of the glassware turned out.

Normal wash option, detergent (old stock Cascade with phosphates) in main wash dispenser cup only.

Ugh!

What a horrible person that lady must be - how could she take the satisfaction of loading the dishwasher for you (lol!). I'm gonna do that next time we visit our pre-rinsing friend's house. Then we'll see what happens.

By the way, here's what happens when you make Chilli one Sunday arvo. A nice lightly soiled "Bobload," and tested with "Kwit" detergent (made by the same people who make Finish)

And for those concerned: NO! You don't smell a Pre-Rinser - You've seen how we usually "abuse" the drawers, its just that we haven't made anything more soiled than light protein/bread stains with hints of coleslaw and cupcake icing (someone decided the green bowl "had" to be rinsed...) But under that White Strainer, there is a large mug and a coffee plunger-plunger
