Software vs hardware

I worked on point of sale readers for years. Sometimes an automatic update to the reader will break it. So technically it's broke ..... but the hardware is still fine. A quick manual software update to the internal flash drive would 'fix' it. But yeah, nothing hardware wise to replace. More of a simple technical issue than being truly broken. Same thing when uncle Bill auto updates your copy of Windows on your perfectly fine running PC and it is now "broken" until you reinstall the offending update. Lol

Not working vs. not cooling

The seller might also be saying that the motor/compressor is operating (vs. not working), but the unit is not cooling. I'd say there's a distinction between the two functions.

That's a 1957 model so it's sea-foam green. Frigidaire didn't introduce turquoise until 1958, when they discontinued sea-foam green and stradford yellow.

It works but doesn't cool I assume means that the light comes on when you open the door lol.

Hey Robert, you refered to the color as "Sea-Foam Green" for the '57 models. I know the original Frigidaire green was called "Sherwood Green" (code #103), and "Turquoise" (code #205) you said started with the '58 models. Was there another shade of green sold for a short time in between? The reason I ask is that another color just listed as "Green" (code #104) is on paintref.com. Was this an exterior offering, or was it to match a color used on the inside of a refrigerator?
