looks like....

They took the front panel off & couldn't get it back on. So they put duct tape on the cabinet & front panel to hold it on.

I wonder what kind of problem they were having that they took the front panel off??
 
timer sticking

I hav the same 1-18 but with the window in the lid. It works beautifully but the timer will only pull out right at the 15 minute mark on the Regular cycle. So I always start and use it on that cycle.
Any suggestions????

May not be up on all things vintage Frigidaire, but know what to look for when it comes to "Jet Action" washers.

If hadn't seen the little emblem and other details indicating the real GM McCoy wouldn't have bothered.
