Looking for a wild hair.
Back around 1970 ish, Frigidaire AND General Motors had a feature film cassette player and cassettests. A salesperson would greet you and, once they found out what appliance you were interested in , they'd pop in a cassette filmage of the design and features along with the many different models, color availability, and warranty coverage. If I remember correctly,1972 was the year. Right before they introduced the Touch N Cook range.
From Jet Action 1-18 to Super Surge. From Electri Clean to Fowing Heat. From Jet Circle Spray System to seven bladed stainless steel Pulverizer. These cassettes had it all on film showing them in action and how they operate. I've searched high and low but, alas, no successes. It makes me wonder how many of the older companies that had them still do or are even still in business. If so, where are they???
I'd love to find a complete set with the video player included but NEVER see them on line anywhere. Am I alone? Or are there other Frigidairens here who know what I'm talking about. Just a shot in the dark. Hopefully, I'll hit the bullseye. Thanks in advance.
Lucky Chucky.
