Hey guys!

New to the forum. I just moved into a house with a 1967 Frigidaire. The speed heat burner and right oven is not working.

I checked the coil with an ohm meter and theres no resistance. I see that the part is discontinued and it looks like its supposed to take a 118-125 volt. Are there interchangeable parts that I can buy?

How can I fix the oven problem?

For the right-hand oven, the first thing to check is if the meal timer dial on the clock is set to MAN. On mine, it is on the "Hours to Cook" dial, but it might be on the STOP dial.  If it is in the OFF position, it interrupts power to the oven. Often times in cleaning, that dial would get moved out of MAN and then the oven would not work.

Yes, the Speed Heat element and switch are no longer available.  A used or generic 240 volt infinite switch and a used 6 inch 240 volt Radiantube unit will put that back in operation, just not as a Speed Heat element.  The Speed Heat or "flasher" elements were a wild idea, but putting 240 volts across a 120 volt element and switch puts terrible stress on the two of them.

Had the 1969 model

Interesting to see this. It is a great stove; hope you can save it. Our 1969 Fr. Custom Imperial 40" had a large oven and a smaller oven with side hinged door. We didn't look too hard for parts, instead replaced it with a mid-2000's 40" Frigidaire with NO bells or whistles. It literally was 1/2 the stove the old one was; I swear, because of the thinner metal and poorer build quality, it weighed less than 1/2 the 1969. So, save it if you can.

When they redid the kitchen in 1969, they hooked up the original Frig. Sherwood Green 30" 1954 range in the laundry room, probably for entertaining and canning.

We upgraded our kitchen a year ago; couldn't find a decently priced 40", so added some cabinets to use a 30" I was REALLY tempted to bring up the green 30" from the basement, but the hub wanted the convenience of a smooth cooktop. So, it is still in the basement. No pics of the 1969, but here is the 1954:

Pretty 1954 Frigidaire Range

Hi, If you had a 40" real GM FD range it would have had a full width compact oven on the left with a drop door like the right oven door, the side swing oven door did not come out till 1980 after the real FD ranges were gone and WCI used the 40" Kelvinator design for all the 40" ranges.
