Frigidaire Flair

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Well it's about time...

Believe it or not, a 40" Flair (of not, then Hotpoint or Tappan Fabulous 400, but I highly doubt it since they sold more Frigidaire here) was in our (built 1960s; the year 1967 is on the driveway) house until 1996, replaced by the Whirlpool!!! There were no cabinets or shelf above where the stove is, just a large cutout. The receptionist at Marek Vet Clinic here told us she lived here in the 1970's-80's, and they had a range with a "pull-out drawer for the burners and an oven on top" here. After discovering this site I realized what it was!

I'm hoping the reserve isn't too high...I wish it was just $80 because it would be here faster than you can say Frigidaire!

The only thing missing, I see, are racks on the left side...I can probably take those from the Whirlpool.

$79.99 is the starting bid. The reserve price (shown by "Reserve Not Yet Met") enables sellers to start the bid lower than what they expect to get for the item. eBay doesn't show the actual reserve price so that people won't shy away if it's high. If this seller wanted to list the range at $80 but wouldn't take less than $200 for it, he could set the reserve at $200 and start the bidding at $80. An $80 starting bid on this is reasonable, but the reserve could be more than $500...who knows? Usually when a seller wants to reveal the reserve price, he/she will state it in the auction page; this guy hasn't. :(
