I inadvertently posted this in the Deluxe category. It was moved to the Shopper’s Square” category instead.
In February of this year, my partner Jim and I moved from Tucson, Arizona to Cathedral City, California.
We don’t (thankfully) have much spare garage space in the new house. My days of collecting major appliances are over. That, however did not stop me from aquiring another interesting appliance find (for someone else to enjoy). They’re almost vintage, believe it or not. Nineteen years old, but they look and operate like new.
The machines I found, and am willing to pass along to anyone interested, are a top-of-the-line 2006 or so Frigidaire/Electrolux washer and matching gas dryer (Yes, it has a drum light!). Truly hardly used, they were owned by an older couple who used them here, in their “winter home”. As far as I can tell all is working as it should. The dryer is quiet, timers are advancing, and the washer spin sounds like new. No bearing sound. The only cosmetic defect is a slight dent on the left side of the washer top. It’s barely noticable. No major “yellowing” of plastic parts either.
Anyway, though I was happy to save the pair, I would like to know if anyone else is interested in owning them. I just don’t have the room to keep them.
Please contact me if you have any interest.
