This is a very rare [ I think one year ] dryer with a two speed motor that can operate at a slightly lower speed and heat input for smaller delicate loads.
It also has an advanced Texas Instruments electronic control system that was also used on LKM dryers around this period, this TI dryer control was far more versatile and reliable than Maytag's troublesome EC dryers.
This was also the only all porcelain cabinet dryer built at this time in the US and the last one at that.
Hi Barry, Yes the matching washer was all porcelain, All Hotpoint washers had all porcelain cabinets and tops all through the 60s and an all porcelain cabinet was an option on a few WP and KM washers at this time but other than that I don't think any other domestic washers offered an all porcelain cabinet.
To the best of my knowledge, you need to have a Facebook account to contact the seller as his information is not public. If you don't want to set up an account, I can message your email to him. But I don't want to do this without your permission. --Barry
