Frigidaire range in the Chicago area

In turquoise, to boot! It looks great, but sounds like it's a "fixer-upper". That oven door hinge looks like it rusted out...
It looks a lot like the TOL model I remember seeing in the owners manual for the '56 BOL range my folks had when I was a brat.

Dang it! I was all over this until I saw the chipped porcelain. What a shame.

That can be fixed! I just touched up my 56 GE range with a custom mix from the local hardware store!

I've got the 58 Frigidaire Custom Imperial version..

This is the middle of the line 40" range (RI-55-58). I have the RCI-75-58 version in charcoal grey. Got it from Greg a few years back. It works like a charm - all the bells and whistles still work. Hopefully someone will get this stove and put a little time into fixing it up.

My biggest challenge lately has been finding a Speed Heat switch. I do have a standard replacement switch that could be substituted with a little work (and a new burner).

My kind of town Chicago is.

It has the same knobs and backsplash style as the WCI-58 Unimatic!! Also has the knockout for the rotisserie! Wish I lived nearer.

Very nice - it does need some work though. Too bad on the chipped porcelain but for it's age, it's not as bad as it could be. The Meat Tender knob looks as though it should be on the naked shaft of the burners. The Meat Tender knob was a smaller version of the others.
